What kinda of geographical region is Valencia, Santa Clarita, CA? Is is a valley, canyon, or what? -

I think it s high desert...it s hot as hell and dry - but there are various canyons, hills and valleys around in the area.

Both Santa Clarita Valencia make part of Los Angeles County which make them deserted zones climate wise, but are cities. They re notable as edge cities or boomburb .

Both are in the Santa Clarita Valley.

Where is a good place for stargazing in Malibu California? -

I need a good place to see the leonid meteor shower in Los Angeles... good places to go without having to hike?

Sheesh. Everybody wants it all without having to work for it.There is no great place you can go without having to hike. First of all, you re still too close to LA. The light pollution makes any place around LA not good . Best I can suggest is Broome State Beach, up highway 1 towards Oxnard. Or try the top of Topanga Canyon Road.

How long does it take to travel in a car from central new jersey (Toms River) to the university of connecticut? -

i have seen mapquest, but i am looking for people with experience who have made the trip before, also if anyone has any insight on the trip to penn state uni0versity park, please tell me the lenght of that trip as well, thank you!

It should take about 3 and a half hours in good driving conditions, which are never guaranteed.I recommend taking the Merritt Parkway in CT to I-91, instead of using I-95 in CT.

What is it like to live in Seattle? -

I love overcast weather. I don t mind traffic, and I m aware of the taxes. haha What else is there? I ve asked this a few times, I m just trying to get as much info as I can before I commit. Thanks so much for everyone s help!

There s lots of parting down in Pioneer Square, and Bell town. There s the Pier with lots of attractions. There s whale watching, ferry riding, you could do a tour of Seattle, like ride the duck, which is a land and water tour. You could go para sailing, skydiving, boating, camping. There s Seattle Center, the Imax ( the biggest movie screen in the world, with the best surround sound, and the best 3d) the science center, etc. There is so much to do here. You could go on a helicopter ride or go river rafting, you could go see the natives on Blake island..... You ll love it.(says the girl who can t figure out what to do...lol)

Oh yeah, there is also the Pike Place Market. So much excitement there. It is so cool, you got the fisherman throwing fish to impress the crowd, fresh flowers, tons of vendors. Also, check out the famous Ye Olde Curiosity Shop (Google), you ll just love it. The Pier has fun, cool, amazing shops. Report Abuse

Everyone has social anxiety and major mood issues, they push you aside in the markets as if they own the universe. they re pompous and vain, thieves and crooks. A person can go on living for 40 years with their parents because the state offers no assistance to them, because of their age race education or other discriminating factors. I would love to be in canada right now.

Most people are friendly. You feel like you have a natural air conditioner out side. Traffic is not as bad as in other cities. The busses and trains have good routes.

rain with showers or showers with rain? 9 months of the year?? other than that about the same as any other large city!!

Best place to live in Manhattan for someone in early 20s? -

I m going to be moving to NYC soon and I m starting to look into apartments in the Manhattan area. I m in my early 20s, I m a very artsy-fartsy type of person, I love visiting museums, doing anything creative, shopping, and going to restaurants. I don t really like to party or go to bars or clubs so I m trying to decide what area would be best for me. I ve been focusing on the Upper East Side, I spent some time around there this summer and although some people say it s bring it s seems to be a nice pace for me. Any other areas I should check out that aren t extremely expensive (I m trying to get an apartment in the 1,500 - 1,650 range) and that would fit my life style? What is it like to live in Midtown or Greenwich Village?

Actually, there are lots of small places available on the Upper East Side. I mean small, like a one room studio. The village is much louder and more expensive.

The Upper East Side is the most expensive place to live..... you can t afford it. Sorry to burst your bubble..... but you probably can t afford most of Manhattan. Move to Brooklyn.

I think Chelsea would be more of a fit for your lifestyle and it s less expensive. Good luck on whatever you decide though! =)

What are the best UK web sites for booking holidays to Disney, Florida? -

We have used City Direct before. Are there any other really good ones that can beat prices and quotes etc?

we have been 3 times to Disney and went to New York this year and all times used a company called attractionticketsdirect.com, they re prices are the best I found online, and believe me when I say I look a lot online for the best deal, they also have a price match so that if you buy them and se them elsewhere cheaper they will refund you the difference.we ahve bought 14 day disney tickets, universal pass, discovery cove, from them, this year we even purchased our New York tickets from them and found no problem at all with them. what we found was some places online send you vouchers that you need to redeem at a booth when there, but this company sends you the actual tickets that you will use there.Good luck finding the best deal and enjoy your holiday there.

You could google UK disney tickets or ask around. You never know who has connections to someone who works at Disney and could get you a good price.
