I m sure that NJ Transit s site has a decent schedule, you should check it out. You can also use their trip planner and set your desired arrival time.

Anybody familiar with 2323 9th Ave. SW Olympia, WA 98502? I am planning to rent apartment.? -

Anybody familiar with 2323 9th Ave. SW Olympia, WA 98502? I am planning to rent apartment named Cambridge Court Apartment. I wanna know the safety of the surrounding area. Actually I am moving to Fort Lewis with my military duty. I am from Maryland and have no clue about Washington State. If anybody can give me some idea about the surrounding area of Fort Lewis, I will be really appreciate. Thanks.

Not familiar with that particular part of Olympia, but having lived in both Maryland (DC metro) and lived in the Olympia/Seattle corridor, I doubt you have anything to worry about safety-wise. It s Olympia, it s small, it s the state capital. For comparison, I d argue plenty of places in Annapolis or Frederick/Ft Detrick are less safe than any spot you will find in Olympia. Images of the apt complex here:http://www.forrent.com/apartment-communiand some reviews here:http://www.apartmentratings.com/rate/WA-Reviews seem to be a mixed bag, some loved it, more seemed to have thought the managment is terrible. For what it s worth, you could check out the craigslist housing list for olympia (olympia is listed as a part of the seattle/tacoma region and NOT as part of the olympic penninsula):http://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/hhh/Enjoy the area. Summers are gorgeous. Winters are .... wet and grey.

I m not familiar with those particular apartments, but Oly in general is pretty safe. If you can afford to rent a house, you should look at Dupont. It is a really nice, new neighborhood that is a lot closer to Ft. Lewis.

Area around Fort Lewis is alright, Tacoma hill is horrible though. Hopefully someone else can give you a more detailed description of the area, as I am not that far south.

Where do the wealthy elite live in the Philadelphia area? -

Inside the city, Chestnut Hill is about the only really wealthy neighborhood left. Although parts of east Falls (where Grace Kelly came from) may still be pretty rich by Philadelphia standards. Lots of the other wealthy neighborhoods like Overbrook have gone to seed. In the immediate suburbs, the Main Line (the area that follows the old Pennsylvania RailRoad route out from Philadelphia to harrisburg), which includes parts of Montgomery, Delaware and Chester Counties. It is where the old Money blue bloods lived and it is still extremely wealthy. There are a few ultra elite neighborhoods in the Gwynedd Valley area of Montgomery County. There are some wealthy suburbs on the New Jersey side of the Delaware river in Camden County, like Cherry Hill. And of Course there are elite seashore resorts with multi million Dollar mansions in Cape May, Atlantic and Ocean Counties. Philadelphia s rich folks have NOTHING to do with New York s rich folks, or the northern New Jersey suburbs of New York.

Many live along the Main Line, the towns along the old main line of the Pennsylvania Railroad. They extend pretty much along modern day Lancaster Ave from Paoli to the Philly city line. Also, in the area along the Pennsylvania-Delaware state line between Kennett Square and Route 202. This is where most of the Dupont family lives.EDIT: Steve, you need to reread the question it says the Philadelphia area not just Philadelphia.

Seems like most here dont know Philly, she asked where IN PHILLY do the wealthy live..so the burbs dont count ,NJ and NY dont count...So, the answer is Chesnuthill, Queen Village. Soceity Hill, Rittenhouse Square, The Art Museum area Fitler Square and The Graduate hosp area..all are loaded with million dollar mansions and townhouses...

The Main Line and a lot of them have property in the city and neighboring shore lines

The Main Line

It s not just in the philadelphia area. I m from NJ and grew up in a town that was mostly known for it s celebrity residents such as Al Roker, Bon Jovi and various members of the Bon jovi group, Bruce Springstein, Queen Latifah, members of the Sopranos cast, etc.Unfortunately the most famous resident where I live now is Elizabeth Smart and that s only because she was kidnapped by psychos. As for why Philadelphia specifically? Who knows.. maybe because it s close to NY without actually being IN new york city.

What is there to do in and around St. Louis? -

I m planning a road trip from Chicago to San Francisco and want to pass through St. Louis. Aside from the St. Louis Arch, what else is there to see and do? I m also very interested in natural sites like forest preserves, waterfalls, etc. in Illinois and Missouri.

Forest Park, Cahokia Mounds, Lone Elk Park, Powder Valley, Mastadon Park, Missouri Botanical Garden especially the Climetron which is a rain forest environment, Meremac Caverns near Sullivan or Marvel Cave in Branson, Ozark hills in the southern part of the state and tons of historical sites. Missouri has beautiful parks, streams and lakes. You can check them out with the Missouri Dept of Natural Resources. A lot depends on how much time you have and which highways you are taking across the state (Highway 70 vs Highway 44).

Trail of Tears, Lake of the Ozarks, Branson, Elephant Rock State Park, Mastodon State Park, Suttons Bluff

How do I make a MetroCard transfer? -

How do I make a transfer from train to bus and from bus to train with my metro card (with is a student metro card). Also, is it free?

Student metrocards have more restrictions on them. You can only use them 3 times either on your way to school or on your way home. That s it. However, you should still be able to use your student card the same way you would any metrocard. Just use it when you transfer. If you have not transfered too many times, the card should permit the transfer.

You simply made a metrocard transfer - BS!

How do you think you make one? You live here, you should know how to use one of those.
