Is it ridiculous to buy tickets to Hawaii a week in advance???????????????????????????????????????????????? -

well i m 15. but i have told my mom for a while that i want to go to hawaii. but she does EVERYTHING last minute. so she has been looking and she says everything is too expensive. and $1,000 per person is too much. she wants to leave december 26.soo is it just going to get more expensive? what should my mom do to get the best deal? we live in california if it matters

First off, she shoudl have planned this a month advanced. That way, she could have researced her options and fidn the best deals. Now, she ll only be a maniac stressed out on how expensive the trip woudl be. I can t garantee you any websites as they have the same prices, but if you want to pay a bit less try www.hotwire.comOther than that, Merry Christmas in Hawaii. :)EDIT: Yes, that is a reasonable price to pay for six days , the plane tickets, and a car rental, but for three people! Check again. :)

No, because it is being careful just in case if they run out but buying them longer then a month in advance is considered ridiculous.

Weather in south west united states? -

What is the weather in south west united states not including california but including texas? I live in arkansas is it about the same as here or warmer?? during the winter?

Depends how southwest... some of the desert areas are far from the ocean and so dry that they get cold and snowy at night, like New MexicoOther deserts, like Las Vegas, stay pretty warm. It can snow and get cool in parts of northern texas

We drove through Flagstaff AZ on Sunday with about 3 of snow on the ground. So it depends on the altitude of the area. We re in South Carolina now, it s raining and about 48 degrees.

it stinks. cold.

Is any part of chicago nice? -

The North Shore is especially nice from Winnetka thru Lake Forest. Northbrook, Bannockburn and Glenview are also nice but I do not actually consider them the North Shore as they are not on the Lake.

Downtown... Well, that s all i know, because every time i got to Chicago, it s the south side.South Side of Chicago, is messed-up. Not a good place to be, especially tourists.South Side is one of the roughest parts of Chicago.

Sauganash, Edgebrook, North Shore, Wrigleyville, Lincoln Park.

heck yeah. near wrigleyville, bucktown, wicker park, jefferson park.

A lot of places..Downtown, North side, um all over the city...

East Garfield Park is the newest area of likes

nope

SHould i go to great wolf lodge in the summer? -

i was thinking of going to great wolf lodge va, for my summer b-day (im turning 14) and i was wondering if it would be a good idea -will i have to have a adult follow me around all the time-will it be expensive -will it b enjoyable for my age group or wud it be god for only little kids

If you are talking about The Great Wolf Lodge in The Wisconsin Dells, it is an awesome water park for all ages. I believe they have life guards so I wouldn t worry about the adult thing. Yes it is expensive and you have to book it well in advance. I am a 54 year old big kid and I have a blast in water parks. They are fun for all ages. Go for it. If you cannot get in to the Great Wolf, there are a number of other water parks there as well.

I think your age group would have fun, it would be somewhat expensive, and you will need supervision depending on your parent s decision

Can you tell me anything about San Francisco State University? -

If you go there, or know anything about it, what is it like? Is the business program good? I ll take any info I can get.

i personally like the campus a lot. but yeah budget cuts are screwing everyone over right now. i had to stand for the first 2 weeks because my classes were jammed full of people trying to add.

right now with the budget cuts, it really sucks because theres like a million people trying to get into a class that can only hold 100 people. but for business, its pretty much why people go to sfsu

terrible school.....................ha ha dont go there

Will silver line bring metro bus to dulles south? -

after they finish building the silver line, will there be metro bus to the stations from areas close to Dulles airport like Dulles south?

I haven t seen anything in writing, but it s quite likely. Whenever Metro extends their rail lines, they adjust Metro bus service, particularly in the area of the last station. Remember, though, that the current construction is only to Wiehle Avenue in Reston. The extension to Dulles, and points further west, won t open for many years.
