How much does esthetician earn in san diego? -

originally I wanted to be an rn. I finished an associate degree back to my country already but the waiting list here just take forever.I also wanted to be an esthetician and now im considering this instead of rn due to high demand/comeptition on nursing field.But I want to know how much does esthetician earn? do they get paid hoursly? or by commisions on their service? or they just pay rent monthly? Also after earning experience im planning to put my own business on this field, would it be worth it? or its better just to rent a room or work in a spa place?and can you give me the best school to go for this in san diego?thanks

Sorry I don t know about esthetician places in San Diego, but I just wrote to say I understood EVERYTHING you wrote in English.I have a family member in an esthetician program in California right now. I can tell you that it s quite expensive, and the teachers in the program have said that:1) you need to live in a large urban area in order to make a living as an esthetician2) only 3% of licensed estheticians renew their license after the first 3 years. This should tell you that it s very hard to be successful as an esthetician.
