Is it possible to take the BART from San Bruno or San Mateo into San Francisco? -

BART operates from San Bruno to SF. Caltrain operates from both San Mateo and San Bruno to SF. Depending on your final destination, one may be better than the other.

San Bruno - -YES, San Mateo-- NO; Bart doesn t serve San Mateo, as it doesn t reach that far south on the peninsula. It goes as far south as Millbrae, which is the last stop on Peninsula and the stop following the San Bruno station south bound. Service at Millbrae is limited I think.Regular service from San Bruno north bound; Pittsburg/Bay Point or Richmond trains is what your looking for into the city.

The easiest way to use BART is to go to their Expanded QuickPlanner. http://www.bart.gov/index.aspxYou can type in the name of the station- or if you just have an address, the QuickPlanner will find the closest station for you to use. It gives you all the information you need like departure/arrival times and fares.Or if you just need to figure out how much it will cost to get to your destination follow this link to the BART Fare Calculator http://www.bart.gov/tickets/calculator/iChildren 4 and under ride free. Everyone else must have a BART ticket. BART fares are based on distance traveled.Want more visit
