Could last weekends snow storm cause my package to arrive late? -

I sent my sis a package through USPS and sent it PRIORITY mail (2-3 days) but now its already been 4 days and I checked the Track and Confirm and it said that it arrived to her city but was not updated after that. So I was thinking the snow storm could have backed things up, could this be a reason? She lives in VA and she said they have about 2 feet of snow.
