Generalizations about people and universities should be ignored. Come on - that s so low class.Your best bet is to come visit ASU and walk the campus, talk to the students, and not just rely on people on here who may or may not have attended ASU.Here is their web site for general questionshttp://www.asu.edu/I m a graduate of ASU and loved my time there. It s a wonderful university with a lot to offer.College is pretty much what you make it. The serious students get the degrees :)
ASU is a good school, though people will tell you it s a joke... We used to be THE top party school, but were knocked down a few pegs. You ll hear jokes and snide remarks about Micheal Crow being a dumbass for making budget cuts (whiiiich he was!) and that all the girls here are sluts who will sleep with anyone (true if you re by Manzaneta dorms... oy).The people are friendly enough, though. Summer is HORRIBLE here I can t stand it and I m a Phoenix native.. though winter is decent (highs this week are mid/high ish 70 s, lows are mid 50 s...)The individual Schools here are ranked nationally quite high... I m part of Herberger Institute of Arts and Design (School of Theatre) and we re ranked #5 for public schools for our department. The Honors College is, I believe, top at the list for national public schools honor programs.
