Where is the best place to park for Olympic Park in Atlanta? Is there anywhere free in walking distance? -

I m taking my boyfriend to Atlanta tommorrow for his birthday. We re going to the Aquarium (I ve already got a parking pass for that), then out to eat at The Old Spaghetti Factory, then ice-skating at Centennial Olympic Park. I know that parking for the park is $8 if you park at the World Congress Lot, but is there anywhere within walking distance we might be able to park for free or cheaper? Thanks for any and all help! :)

No such thing as free parking in downtown Atlanta. $8 to park is reasonable for a night out in downtown. Your only free parking option would be to park at a MARTA lot and ride the train into town, but then you d be paying $4 each to ride the train so it s really no savings at all.
