I have always taken a day each for both Universal Studios and Universal s Islands of Adventure and have always had time to do everything I wanted in each park, plus a few things a second time (I normally go open to close). On busier days, like around holidays and during the summer tourist season, you may need to take advantage of their Express Pass to make sure you get to do everything you want to do.
okay, to do ABSOLUTLEY EVERTHING and i mean EVERY SINGLE THING there, it would be...Universal studios, 2 days.Islands of Adventure, 1/2 of 3 days.so it rounds up to like, 4 and a 1/2 days.but if you were to not do EVERTHING, it would be...it takes me 1 day to get done with islands of adventure. but since you don t go every year, 1 1/2universal studios you can get done in 1 day.so it would round up to 2 in a 1/2 days.
I d say if you want to get through it all at least two days.remember there s also Island of Adventures which has most attractions like roller coasters and water rides. so I d say for both about three should be fine and would be great if you want to sit and watch shows as well.
There are different companies, e.g. Gray line, that offer tours of Universal Studios and these tours are usually 1 day long. I think that you would be able to go to everything in one day.
During a slow time or with FOTL privileges (by staying on site) you can complete a park in a day. However during spring break, Xmas holidays, 4th of July etc it would take closer to 1 1/2- 2 days per park without FOTL
in order to see it all you will need 2 days and you could always get the express passes that will make you go faster and don t have to make does huge lines. Good Luck
