Christmas in Las Vegas (:? -

So, my husband and I are in Vegas with our two children and soon to be addition- to see our families for the holiday. There will be days that we won t have anything to do. So any suggestions? Child and teenager oriented. Thank you in advance. (:

Well...in front of the Bellagio, there are fountains. This time of year, the dancing fountain shows are programmed to Christmas music. (If you like to walk around, you could do that at night before returning to your hotel room). You could go shopping in the outlets, see a show, or go to the arcade...?

Christmas related things:Sunset Park has a drive through light decorationsMagical Forest by Opportunity Village = It s the annual fundraiser for a handicapped children s program. But not solely for handicapped children Your hotel should know more about this; it s very BIG in Vegas. Springs Nature Preserve has special holiday programs. You should also go to the Pinball Hall of Fame (corner of Pecos and Tropicana). Obviously, it s not holiday related, but it s fun for all ages. It s an arcade filled with working pinball machines from all eras. You pay for the games, there is no entrance fee.

If you have a car, get out of town and see some of the desert. Red Rock Canyon is beautiful, you can drive the loop and never get out of the car, or stop at the scenic overlooks, or hike the trails. Whatever you want.Mt. Charleston is sure to have snow. There s snow up there right now. It snowed today and it s probably snowing right now.

There are lots of activities in Vegas for kids and some really great kid friendly shows. Here are some activities. http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/entertain
