Will i get a Visa for USA? -

I am planning a holiday to USA next year for about 3 weeks. I will be 23 when i travel and am lead to believe that it is very strict to get in.When i was younger i was arrested for having a spliff (joys of childhood) and also was caught steeling some sweets when i was a kid on both occations i recieved a police caution. As well as this i lost my driving licence last year for speeding (got 6 points and licence revoked).Im now not sure if i will get in?Can anybody tell me if they have had similar issues and any advise would be gratefully recieved. Many Thanks

Probably OKTo find out for sure apply for your ESTA now. The Electronic System for Travel Authorisation effectively replaced the old Visa Waiver System. You can apply on line at :-https;//esta.cbp.dhs.govIt s free and valid for 2 years and permits multiple entries. If you tell the truth when you apply and the application is granted then all is well. If it is refused you will know in good time and at no cost. You could still request a personal interview at the US Embassy and present your case. They may relent, as the offences are fairly minor.Needless to say you will not be permitted to drive over there.Ian M
