City Lights - Not a great option, unless it s right near your work, it s downtown LA.Rancho Los Feliz - It s fine. Traffic on Los Feliz can be very slow. Near golf courses, zoo, artsy Los Feliz and Silverlake areas. Near Hollywood. Close to anything you need. Good location for getting around LA, Glendale, Burbank, Pasadena.Living at NoHo Gallery at NoHo Commons - NoHo Arts District, not the prettiest area, but relatively safe for much of LA. NoHo is very mixed, but the area where the apts are is fine to walk around in during the day (you don t want to walk anywhere in LA at night without being careful). There are theatres, acting studios, lots of new restaurants/fast food places, supermarket, the Academy of Television Arts (Emmys), a nice park, a good Target just a short way north, and the metro. Good location for getting around LA. Playa Del Oro -- I m not too familiar with the Westchester area.Much of how safe you are is in your hands. Good locks, being careful, not doing dumb stuff like walking alone at night by yourself. What building is close to your work or school, or in an area you like? Which is in an area that feels right to you? I don t know about the area around Playa Del Oro, but the NoHo and Atwater (Los Feliz) area apts are probably similar in safety. City Lights is not in a very safe area. The *really safe* areas tend to be very expensive, like La Canada, South Pasadena, Manhattan Beach, Malibu. Glendale, Burbank and South Pasadena may have something in your price range, South Pas would likely be an older building without many amenities. Areas of Pasadena are nice and somewhat reasonably priced. But many people live in areas like you re looking at without incident, as long as they are careful. Safety Stats: http://www.lalife.com/ Good luck!
Of those, I would lean towards Rancho Los Feliz. You can find out relative safety at www.lalife.com and click on safety .
Santa Monica
Beverly Hills is pretty safe.
Rancho Los Feliz is your best bet.NoHo is the one I want to avoid the most.
West LA always is better than the rest
I know Mission Viejo is the safest place to live in the states but it s not in LA but, it s in the same account I think.
Round Rock, Texas
