Why are Californians so laid back? -

Hi, my family and I moved to Cali from New York last month and i gotta say, its pretty nice out here. I still not used to the weather around here, like, did i just move to a different season?? Now, I m getting to know my neighbors and I go to a school and they seem very laid back. Its like there really boring and they have no life s. But I ve noticed they don t take life as seriously as others do, yeah, they are approachable and friendly, but they seem really superficial. But what do you think?

I live and am from california....its not like it used to be. Now its a melting pot of folks from other states,countries..I lived in New York ..and wish I could go back.Out here people now are rude,nasty...;and dont care about any one but themselvews....thats most of the people out here,not all of them.I wish I could afford to leave...the only thing nice is the weather lol

well its always nice around there and theres prolly plenty to do but theyve prolly done it all....or, there on drugs and are just hangin out
