Hotel near LA disneyland? -

I m trying to book a hotel near LA disneyland for two nights-Dec 22 and Dec 23. We have three girls and two boys. Can you suggest some clean and inexpensive hotels that is convenient to both come from LAX and go to disneyland? (We arrive at LAX at 11;30pm on Dec 22, and we have no car. So there must be someway to go to that hotel at that time.Does LAX has shuttle at that time?) Thanks a lot!!!

Wow, there are a lot of problems here. First of all, Disneyland is in Anaheim, and is 35 miles from LAX. So there is no hotel that is convenient to both. Second, hotels in SoCal are pretty expensive, so clean and inexpensive doesn t really apply here. I was going to say that most hotels are already booked, but the economy has made a liar out of me. In fact, I noticed on travelocity that there are sales going on. I always recommend the Howard Johnson (HoJo) and the Candy Cane Inn. While some hotels are closer, these two are very close to the front entrance, so you can walk back to the hotel for a swim or a nap in the afternoon. They are a step above the other hotels in the immediate area in terms of rooms, service, pool, and value. The HoJo recently added a themed pool, the only one outside the Disneyland Resort property. I noticed that the Howard Johnson is only $124 for each night, which is a pretty good deal. Check out the location below:http://www.galttech.com/research/travel/ Getting there at that time of night is going to present a problem. The last Disneyland Express leaves at 10:00 PM. So you either have to take a cab (VERY expensive, close to $100) or take Super Shuttle or PrimeTime Shuttle. You can reserve a shuttle at www.supershuttle.com or www.primetime shuttle.com. It should cost about half of what a taxi would cost.Have fun.

now disneyland isn t IN los Angeles but in Anaheim(a whole differnet county)yes you could take super shuttle to Anaheim (hope you have a reservation)but it will be kind of expensivethe disneyland express bus i think stops running at 11pmwhich would be a cheaper routewhat you might do is book hotel close to lax (like motel 6) for that first night(they have a free shuttle)then the next day return to lax then take the disneyland express bus to disneyland..aslo since it Christmas you might find all the hotels already booked up for christmas

i have stayed at the Anaheim Red Roof, it s right across from disney and very nice and cheap. they usually have sales on their webpage. redroof.com. if you get a hotel room you can ask them about arranging for a shuttle. the last thing you want to do is show up at LAX and not find anything but taxis. there are airports at ontario and burbank that are closer but you probably dont want to fly there unless you are from within CA. but yes like ppl said, LAX and anaheim are immensely far apart. consider yourself lucky though that you are coming in so late and wont have to spend a whole day creeping over there in traffic!!!

You are better off taking Super Shuttle (reserve in advance) but with that many people, a cab might be cheaper actually... and staying someplace near Disneyland instead of near LAX. Then cabbing it back to LAX or taking super shuttle back. Only the hotels right near LAX have free shuttles to and from the airport.

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
