How long will it take for mail to arrive in austin texas from dallas? -

I need to send information to texas A M university and its the day before thanksgivings. about how long would it take for mail to arrive in austin if i send it now? it needs to be in by december 1st. will i make it in time?

Normally yes,but as early as possible due to Holiday mail.

If you mail it today, Thanksgiving Day, or even tomorrow, Friday 11/27 from Dallas; it ll get to Austin or College Station by Tuesday, Dec. 1 for sure. First class mail from any point in Texas will get to any other point in Texas in 2 working days or less. By the way, I m not aware of any Texas A M campus in Austin. Are you sure you didn t mean the University of Texas at Austin? Or Texas A M University in Bryan/ College Station? here are the other Universities in the Texas A M System:?Prairie View A M University?Tarleton State University?Texas A M International University in Laredo?Texas A M University-Corpus Christi?Texas A M University-Kingsville?West Texas A M University near Amarillo?Texas A M University-Commerce?Texas A M University-Texarkana?Texas A M University-Central Texas in Killeen?Texas A M University-San Antonio

Austin is about a three hour drive from Dallas, Texas.More likely it will arrive the next day.If you already put it in the mail even on a Saturday(before the pickuptime), it should arrive first thing Monday morning. Also, there is a US Federal law about sending official statements or payment for bills, etc. thru the US Mail system....As long as the postmark date is before the date is due, the companyHAS TO HONOR the postmark date. The reason is there were cases someone would send a payment in the mail a week before it was due in the city they lived in. Either thecheck with payment somehow got stuffed in the wrong mailbox or address or the letter got misplaced being stuffed in a magazine toanother person it would arrive a few day later that it was to be due. There were cases like this: COMPANY: Well, it arrived 3 days after the due date, we have to charge you a 10% late fee... CUSTOMER: But, I sent it a week before the date due!! You office address is only50 miles from where I live... COMPANY: Sorry, it arrived after the due date..you have to pay a 10%late fee. CUSTOMER: Well, I be [---Censored!!!---] so damn mad at this. Companies would say, it arrived late people has to pay late fees...Some companies would even take it to certain level ofcertain people saying it arrived late to so you have to pay a late fee.And trying to bilk the sender for more money.A federal law says:The company has to honor the U.S. MAIL POSTMARK on the envelope, and not when the letter arrives there . - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

It won t matter when you mail it, if you re sending it to Austin it will never reach Texas A M.

NO PROBLEM
