What would you suggest I do in NYC during the holiday seasons? -

A visit to New York City during Christmas time would not be a trip to New York City during Christmas time without a trip to Rockefeller center to visit the big tree. You most likely will be missing the lightning, as it is on the second of December, but between then and January seventh, the tree will be up, so I strongly suggest going out there to check out the tree. Rockefeller is between 47th and 50th Streets and 5th and 7th Avenues. I would also suggest seeing the Nutcracker , which is a Christmas-themed ballet. It s a magical performance, and it s a fun family ballet, and I would suggest that as well. Also check out SoHo and Canal Street for some fantastic shopping. There are some great miscellaneous items you can find around there, and there is almost everything that you could want and need for the holidays. the Nutcracker ballet information:http://www.nutcrackerballet.net/ Top 10 Things To Do in NYC For The Christmas Holiday http://travelingmamas.com/2008/12/02/top Things to do in New York City at Christmastime http://www.onboardnewyorktours.com/chris How to Enjoy Christmas in New York http://www.associatedcontent.com/articleAll the best ?

Go, just go any time is a good time to visit NY. Winter is a very beautiful time there. Central Park, draped in snow, is magic. Add a carriage ride through the snow and that is about as good as it gets. Of course ice skating at Rockefeller Plaza with Prometheus looking on is a classic. Stick around after and see the lights on the hugh tree. Then, venture to the Top of the Rock (the observation deck at the top of the Rockefeller Building) to see some real New York lights, dress accordingly.

New Year count down that surely would be a packed place! Head to the Toys R Us store and buy some gifts! See a Christmas play.Ripley s Believe it or Not museum. You can look at the statue of liberty. Look at the twinkling lights, the decorations, the stores! There is a lot to do during the Holidays and this is only a few! Have fun and be safe on your Holiday trip to one of the busiest and you-won t-run-out-of-things-to-do NYC!!!!!
