It will be missed. Sure the people like the glitz of the new buildings, but you sit in another zip code from the action. Even in the second level, you could feel like you could touch the players. I saw the Flyers win their first cup there. Saw them beat the Russians too. Had the pleasure of watching Wilt stick it to the Celtics too. Even saw Blind Faith and Dylan back in the day. It was just a beautiful place. It will always be there in my mind. Goodbye good friend!
I haven t been in the Spectrum since the Wachovia Center opened. However,I will miss it. I saw the Dead s last philly show there.
I won t miss at all. It was a crummy little building. The Wachovia Center is a much nicer venue.
