Fun things to do on christmas in San Francisco? -

My friend and I are spending our first christmas away from friends and family. I was looking to get some ideas on something special we can do christmas eve/day. Last year we went to see an Opera, Wozzeck and enjoyed it so much we are still talking about it. Totally up for anything interesting/creative/fun/modern. Thanks!
