Does my green card wife need a passport to fly within the US? -

My wife is a Permanent Resident. We are flying across the county in a few days and we just realized that her Peruvian Passport will expire while we are there. (We didn t renew because she s about to become a US citizen.)Is this a problem? She can fly domestically with her Permanent Resident card, right?

A passport for domestic flights is only required if a foreigner does not have any U.S. federal/state issued photo ID. The U.S. Green Card or a U.S. state issued Driver s License will be fine for domestic flights.http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/a ..

NO ONE needs a passport to fly domestically. Just her green card is fine. It will serve as here photo I.D.

No, just her home country passport and valid U.S. Id card or state issued drivers license.
