Actually, I heard Asia has the best seat in the house for the meteor shower, but Texas should be able to see some of it as well. However, close to San Antonio the light pollution is going to make it hard to see any meteors. You will need to head out of town, as far from the city lights as possible, to really see much of anything.Good luck!
You should see a flash or two as some of the larger ones burn up. You ll do better outside of town.
