Moving from Alexandria Va to Richmond Va.? -

Please can someone let me know, what neighborhoods are safe, and what are the best county s. Currently im looking for an apartment to live in. I just want to make sure i dont end up living in a bad neighboorhood.

What are you looking for in a neighborhood? How much do you have to spend? If you are looking at moving into the City of Richmond, there are several new high rise apartments near Shockoe Bottom. (Main Street/Cary Street near 14 th street.) A lot of college students live in the Fan and Carytown area. There is a very nice apartment complex just outside of Stoney Point Fasion Park, which is south of the James River and has easy access north and south. Richmond is bordered by Henrico County on the north and Chesterfield County to the south. The west end of Henrico County is very nice and has hundreds of apartment complexes for rent. The further west you go (towards where Broad Street crosses I-64) the better it is... and the more expensive. Chesterfield has a lot of really nice places. The apartment complexes near the city are kind of rough. The further away from the city you go, the nicer they are. Is there one magic apartment complex I can suggest to you? Not really. There are so many options and I don t know what you are looking for. For the most part, if the area looks skeevy, it is skeevy. Good luck!
