chicago, because of the snow mixed in w/ the skyline. Heaven on earth!
Romans don t like Americans- too much World War II drama, and won t be very friendly to you. Italians aren t as festive at Christmas like Chicagoans. Its a religious and legal holiday there, and families will have Christmas dinner, but they DO NOT decorate with lights, have Christmas trees or Christmas parties. Chicago at Christmas is beautiful and hospitable and festive! Checkout the 4 story Christmas tree, life sized Nativity and old fashioned market at Daley Plaza- then go 2 blocks North to Macy s department store and look at the storybook decorations on the window and the 2 story Christmas tree INSIDE Macy s in their Walnut Room dining room. There s also free ice skating on State Street. Chicago has Christmas spirit! You will feel like you are in a movie scene, like when Bob Hope is singing Silver Bells in his Santa suit in the movie The Lemon Drop Kid
It would depend on what you re looking for. Chicago, since it s in the US, would have a lot of festivities for Christmas, and would be nice and cold and snowy. Rome on the other hand, would be great weather, but only a few Christmas things about. So, it would depend on what you re looking for - a nice getaway (Rome) or a good Christmas feel vacation (Chicago).
Hong Kong as confirmed by a recent CNN poll that HK is a must-visit. Its a place where East meets West and never sleeps. Its also the only tax free city in Asia. Check www.DiscoverHongKong.com and enjoy!
