Information on Cape Cod? -

What is Cape Cod Most Famous For? And is it still as beautiful as it looks in pictures?

It s famous for great beaches, great seafood and nasty traffic jams leading up to the Bourne and Sagamore Bridges. Yes, it is as beautiful as you see in the pictures Provincetown (on the tip of the Cape) has a great scene and is a very fun town

It s most famous for the summer beach vacation lifestyle ...great beaches, seafood restaurants, ice cream, t-shirt shops, mini-golf, boating, swimming etc.It s still beautiful and has such a range in diversity across the various towns. Hyannis is maybe the most tourist visited spot...lots of stores, a huge mall, ferry boats to Martha s Vineyard and Nantucket. P-town is gorgeous but has lots of open-minded sexuality. Chatham is a small, quaint fishing village. Falmouth is maybe 2nd to Hyannis for # of shops and amenitites and has a charming downtown and beaches that look out to Martha s Vineyard. We have personal photos of the Vineyard in our site in the source below

Ok, please just have a little patience, waiting a couple minutes and then re-posting your question shows a lot of impatience on your part. Now, as far as Cape Cod goes, there are several places it s famous for. It s VERY pretty if you re on the cost, inland is kinda boring. Province town is really neat, but if you re homophobic I don t recommend it. Just renting a house in Cape Cod over the summer is incredible.

Well, I grew up on the Cape and am there every week so it does not excite me as it is too familiar. If you have some more specific questions I might be able to answer them. What a lot of even local people do not realize is that the Cape is where the Pilgrims and the mercenaries accompanying them first made landfall - not Plymouth as is commonly supposed. They came ashore in what is today Eastham s First Encounter Beach on November 11, 1620. There they encountered some members of the Nauset tribe of the Wampanoag people. The Pilgrims and their military leader Myles Standish did nothing to make themselves popular and days later set sail and ended up at what today is Plymouth. What I do love about the Cape are the Pine Barrens woods, the salt marshes, and the ocean.

Sandy beaches, sand dunes, warm water, the Islands, fishing, shopping, restaurants, seafood, marine wildlife, beautiful views, Summer tourists and traffic jams, and of course Cape Cod potato chips!Yes, it is beautiful in most areas.

I thought it was pretty boring

its amazing...lots of things to do..there beaches...chips..light houses!!so much fun i recomend going in the summer!!
