Can You Just Walk Onto USC Campus? -

I know for CSUN and UCLA you can just walk into campus no questions asked, but since USC is in downtown are there like a load of guards and gates n stuff or is it still pretty much just walk into the campus from the streets?

First off USC is not located in downtown LA. It is located in South LA, south of the downtown area.Yes you can just walk onto some parts of the university. Some entrances, especially the ones off of Figueroa St, are gated since many dorms are in this area. Along Jefferson Blvd where many frat houses are located, anyone can walk onto the campus, especially near the parking lots. And along Vermont Ave it is mainly gated. To access certain areas such as dorms, or class halls/buildings you need special access. And there is a lot of security around and on the campus, along with surveillance cameras watching you. They know who doesn t belong there.

Yes, you can definitely just walk onto the campus. You just can t drive onto the campus without a pass. I know all the guard shacks look a little intimidating but they won t ask you any questions if you walk on unless you re doing something odd that might make them think you re there for no good reason.

Yes, you can. There are events throughout the year that the community is free to attend. Sometimes they re even free.http://web-app.usc.edu/ws/eo2/calendar/3

Yes, you can. It s an adult environment so you should be able to walk in without a problem.

Just do it! My relative went there. I hugged her without a hassle.
