Moving to a new school next spring help!!!? -

I am moving to pittsburgh I don t want to but I dont have a choice I will start 10th grade there I am sooo nervous please give me all the tips and stuff I am also very shy and from Texas I dont want them to think I am too southern!!

Be friendly. Be interested in other people as you talk to them (get them talking about themselves as much as you can - they ll think you re a good listener). Get involved in activities that you re interested in - you ll be more likely to meet people who share your interests and who would therefore be more likely to like you. Try to be as outgoing as you can stand. I know that feels impossible for someone who is very shy, but it really helps. Also, read any books you can find about overcoming shyness. All of the above helped me socially despite my intense shyness.
