Is suny of plattsburgh has fun places to explore? -

i want to applied to suny of plattsburgh, and i want to know is it boring or interesting things in the city to hang out or to explore

i grew up nearby in upstate, ny (utica to be exact)...plattsburgh is more of a large town than a city--the college scene is fun there ( bars, parties, etc)..if you like the outdoors than there is alot nearby to explore--the adirondacks for hiking, whiteface mtn/lake placid for skiing, burlington and the rest of vermont are a short ferry ride away, plus you can go to montreal, canada in about an hour which is out of this world....so if any of the above sounds good to you then you should like plattsburgh
