Is there any bridge/tunnel from new jersey to NYC where you do not have to pay a toll eastbound? -

No. All Port Authority owned crossings between New Jersey and New York City have a toll eastbound. And all bridges on the Hudson south of Albany also have a toll. You would have to drive north along the westside of the Hudson (not using the Thruway), cross the Dunn Memorial Bridge and then head south along the eastside of the Hudson to avoid a toll.

No, there are none. Therefore, if you want to drive into the City, I would suggest parking your car Jersey City or Hoboken and take the PATH train into the City. The links below show the location of parking garages in both cities.Grove Street Stationhttp://maps.google.com/maps?near=Grove+SExchange Place Stationhttp://maps.google.com/maps?near=ExchangPavonia/Newport Stationhttp://maps.google.com/maps?near=PavoniaHoboken Stationhttp://maps.google.com/maps?near=HobokenJournal SquareParking is available at the Journal Square Transportation Center on two decks through a privately owned parking facility, LAZ Parking. For additional information, please call (201) 216-6744.Good luck

Unfortunately, the answer is no.You can park in Weehawken for $8 and take the Manhatan ferry over though.Weekday before 10am $8 Weekday after 10am $10 Weekends $10 Premium Lot Rate $15 Monthly w/ ferry pass $140 Monthly w/o ferry pass $175

Not if you drive. There are tolls for all cars crossing from NJ to NYC by a bridge or tunnel. If you take a bus or train, then you do not pay a toll, but you do have to pay for the bus ticket or train ticket.

That would be the Verrazano Bridge. It s the only toll bridge on the Hudson River/NY Bay that is like that.
