Where can I go ice fishing in the US? -

We re travelling from Minnesota to Colorado and back up through Illinois and Wisconsin in January. I m guessing it ll be cold enough but is there anywhere we can do it?If you post a link to a site then you ll get the best answer an 10 points.

Below is link to THE resource for everything ice fishing. There are message boards for all topics including state specific area. Be prepared to spend a few hours on this website. It will hook you. (pun intended)

My parents lived near Duluth Minnesota and my Dad iced fish there. I m sure anywhere in Minnesota though would be good, there s a thousand lakes all iced. Sorry I didn t post you a site, but do a search and you ll find plenty.

Depending on how cold the winter gets, they often have ice fishing on Georgetown lake in Colorado. Contact the Ranger station for info on winter ice fishing conditions (303)655-1495. http://www.kansasangler.com/coreport.htm
