I need to rent a car around LA airport, I have a debit card and dont want to leave an extra deposit? -

Around here in Massachusetts. I can go rent a car and pay the rental fee and drive away. I have a debit card not a credit card. A lot of car rental places want an additional deposit if you don t have a credit card. Anyone know of someplace I can rent inexpensive and no extra deposit around LAX

have you consider using public transit instead?it may take longer but at least tehy wont hold your debit card hostage!

Credit card is generally required, otherwise they put this HUGE hold on your account (varies from company to company), for DAYS, which screws up your life.See, around here, you NEED a car.
