Whats the closest metro stop to Bowie, MD? -

You have the B22 bus and you also have the MARC that connects at New Carrollton. This is my help from Washington, D.C. United States of America. Please pick an answer as the best answer, even if it is not mine.

The metro does not go near Bowie, but the MARC train Penn line offers a service from Union Station, calling at New Carrollton Station, both of which connect to DC Metro lines, as well as Union Station being within walking distance of much of central DC. The one-way fare is $4, and the journey takes 20 minutes. They serve Bowie State Station, at the North side of the town next to Bowie State University, where there is parking, and the B21 and B22 buses connect to Bowie Town Center with intermediate stops on the way. At peak times the B27 bus also links to additional points in Bowie. The MARC Penn Line offers an hourly service off-peak and up to every 20 minutes both morning and afternoon peak times on Mondays to Fridays. For traveling at weekends, the B21, B22 B24, B25 and B29 buses all link Bowie State and Bowie town center to New Carrollton Metro Station, and there is also parking at New Carrollton.

The closest Metro Rail station would be the Orange Line at New Carrollton. Here s a link to the Metro Rail system map: http://www.wmata.com/rail/maps/map.cfm

There is not a stop that is close.
