Which is the most supported soccer team amongst New Yorkers? -

Well, sorry, but most New Yorkers, like most of the rest of Americans, really couldn t care less about soccer.There s a lot of immigrants here in NYC who are very passionate about their futbol, but even though New York City has a soccer team, the Red Bulls (see link, below), most of us don t follow it at all, sorry.

While they have been trying to jam soccer down the throats of Americans for the last 30 years, most Americans find the sport extemely boring. So no team would be the most supported .And I didn t even know that the Metrostars changed their name to Red Bulls, until I read the wikipedia link above.

for every die hard soccer fan in this city, there is about 3000-4000 Baseball freaks. I ve yet to see a fist fight break out over soccer teams around here, but when it comes to the Mets and the Yankees, it s not a matter of if but when.
