Tens of millions of people come to the US, and once here, find jobs (often at regular wages). The fact that you speak English well will make it much easier than most people without documents. Of course you will supposedly be working illegally , but that much an ignored status, almost never ever enforced, and the penalties so mild, that it can be ignored (a tenth of the US population is doing it).Jobs for anyone in Las Vegas are nearly nonexistent right now, as others have mentioned.Set up a home in the US, and eventually (likely next couple years), congress will have an amnesty program allowing anyone already here, legal permanent residency.

Sorry but this is NOT the time to look for a job in Vegas. Unemployment is 14% and increasing. State, county and cities have frozen hiritng. Casinos are limiting hours of work to less than 40 due to the recession, the worst in the history of Nevada. To get a job in the US you have to have a valid work visa.

If you want to work legally you ll need a visa sponsored by an employer, and it will usually be for white collar work that s in demand. You will also need a social security number. There are no visa categories for waitresses, bar tenders, etc.

Go to Clark County and get a naturalized work permit. They are free. You will just have to show your work visa.

Why would you want to do that when the Pound is worth 1.5 times more than a Dollar?
