Seattle is a great city, I recommend it. The city is devided up into different neighborhoods and it is all dependant on what style of life you want for yourself. There is a really good Community College just 12 blocks from downtown called Seattle Central Community College. The other benefit to finishing at a community college is that if you are interested in going to a university in Washington, they prefer to take transfer students from the local community colleges. oh yea and all the previous comments about how much it rains here, are all BS. Sure it is overcast or cloudy during the winter time, and yes during those months it does rain more than the average places in the US, however on a positive note from May till late September there is not a more beautiful place on the planet
Do not even consider this until you visit the place at the very least... only you can judge if it is right for you... stay a week and see... don t just go by the image of the place... go and explore it... Also... I can guarantee it is more expensive up there... so research all the costs and check out all the surrounding cities as well... you may or may not change your mind...And it CONSTANTLY rains there... 300 days out of the year at least...
