Greyhound IS still in Riverside. The round-trip price is about the same as for Metrolink train - around twenty dollars. Maybe you can check the schedules for Greyhound and Metrolink with the links others have provided and see which times best fit your travel plans. I ve taken both Greyhound and Metrolink in the past few months and found both of them to be safe and comfortable. But one thing you need to think about is the train goes to Union Station in Los Angeles, which is a MUCH better location to make connections to other public transit in LA, including the subway and gold line. It s a real nice station and across the street from Olvera Street.
sheshe what a lot of crappy answerfirst greyhound no services Riverside in the first place (the city evicted them)the best way is to use metrolink during the week they have two routesthe riverside line and 91 lineon the weekend *some* trains on the san bernadino line are extended to Riversidealso certian times of the day RTA has an express commuter bus to Montclair metrolink stationweekdays only at montclair you then can either take metrolink or foothill silver streak into LosAngeles
Metrolink is the best option.See www.metrolinktrains.comThere are 2 lines, the Riverside line and the 91 line.
Metrolink will take you between Riverside and LA. I don t the know the cost, but I suspect a roundtrip ticket would be at least $10 unless you buy a monthly pass.
I m pretty sure Metrolink goes there, but just do what TravelMark (above) says he knows this stuff like the back of his hand...
Try going to www.greyhound.com for bus schedules and fares.
