Question about living in Alaska? -

My husband and I reside in Pinecrest, Florida. We also have several other homes, we call them are vacation homes. However we recently went to Alaska and we fell head over heels in love with it.Do you think it would be smart to invest in a home there?

Depends on where you d want to live and what kind of house it would be. If you re just looking for a summer house you can purchase a cabin around the Kenai River and enjoy fabulous fishing, 4wheeling, camping, hunting all summer! If you re looking for a permanent residence then some cheaper housing would be Kenai, Soldotna, Wasilla, and Fairbanks.p.s. Check out Craigslist for an idea on prices! Good luck! :-)

I don t know about it financially... But Alaska is a BEAUTIFUL place with tons of stuff to do outdoors! In other words, the perfect spot for a vacation home.
