Disneyland Tickets, New Years Eve 2010? -

Can tickets for Disneyland on NYE be purchased in advance? Or does this have to be done the day of? Also, any experience with what time they close the gates? Thanks!

Yes, you can purchase regular admission tickets (1-day park hopper, 2-day park hoppers, etc.) in advance from their web site. Some years, they don t close the park at all, some years, they do a level 2 closing (no new admissions) as early as 5 PM. I haven t seen a level 3 closing (no admissions at all, even for returning guests) in several years now, Best advice: Book a local hotel room. Parking fills up early. By noon, they have filled up the Mickey Friends lot. This is the most crowded day of the year. So arrive early, at least so you can get your hand stamp, and be back inside Disneyland before 5 PM to make sure you can stay.
