I might move from the Bay Area to Albany.NY. What are the pros and cons living in Albany?What are the people doing there for fun? Is there a young or an old population living there?What is best/safe location to rent a place?(and rent cost)How many months in a year do we see snow on the streets?Thanks

Pros:short, two hour (one way) drives make day trips to New York and Boston possible. Cons:home to the worlds greatest three ring circus; the New York State government!

Pro: definitely lower cost of living than the bay area.
