I know disney is crowded around christmas but how crowded? -

i know on christmas day it is the worst but im going either 5 or 6 days before christmas will it still be as bad as going on christmas day? and are some parks not as crowded like epcot? im going to epcot and magic kingdom. Also can u get one of those passes where you dont have to wait in line or do u have to stay at a disney resort to get one? thanks! :)

Christmas Day the parks often close due to reaching capacity crowds. They sometimes do this the days right before or after Christmas, but Christmas Day, it s guaranteed. It s very, very crowded. Magic Kingdom is pretty much always the most crowded. Epcot is bigger, so sometimes it feels a little less crowded even if it really isn t.All guests are entitled to use the free Fastpass system, not just resort guests. Definitely use it!

Your best bet for Christmas time is to pick 3 or 4 must sees for each park and then figure those will be the only attractions you will get to see. The parks will be Kah-razy crowded. The people start coming the week before Christmas and most leave within a day or two of New Year s. You will also have massive waits for food, and, if you haven t made reservations already, you probably won t be able to enjoy any sit-down table meals as they will be all filled up. Something that you might enjoy which is less crowded are the Deluxe resorts. They are always decorated to the extreme. The fast passes are indeed available to everyone, but they also sell out Most of the passes for the popular rides will be gone by 11:00 in the morning. And since you can only hold one fast pass at a time, that mean you should only count on getting one per day. The rest of the rides you will have stand in lines (like someone else mentioned approx. 2 hours each). Good Luck. If you go in there with the idea you re not going to see everything you should be fine. If not seeing everything will ruin your vacation you should plan to go at a different time of year.

It will be very busy but the upside is that it wont be hot and sticky like it is in the summer so you can bear with the weather longer, in fact in may be cold depending on the forecast. As far as capactiy at the parks, ALL the parks will be busy including Epcot, the nice thing about Epcot is that its one the biggest parks so the crowd may not feel as thick but it will still be very busy and just as crowded as Magic Kingdom and the other parks. I recommend that if you will be there just go and dont worry about the crowds, enjoy yourself and be sure to checkout the holiday events. I also recommend that you see Illuminations as there is a special edition for the holidays that is a must see.

My wife and I went around this time last year and it was crowded but not too bad. They closer to Christmas the more crowds. It is this a great time of year to go and we had a ball. Here are some links to Christmas at Disney. Hope you have a blast.

Haha, your question brought back good memories :) I was at Magic Kingdom last Christmas Day. It was sooo crowded, you re always shoulder to shoulder with someone and once the parade starts, forget about being able to get around the park because the workers will tell you where you can or cannot walk because of the parade route. The lines are very long, but every guest is intitled to the fast passes, so definetely get them for the rides you really want to go on. Good luck

We were there two years ago from 12/15 to 12/21 I didn t think the parks were too terribly crowded. We went to virtually everything in all four parks and there were six of us (which included three year old twins; their 8 year old cousin; and the 75 year old grandma.). Fast passes (where you don t have to wait in line as much) are available to all park-goers and you get it from a machine by using your park entrance ticket. Below is a link to some information about the Fast Pass program.

Around the Holidays, Disney gets nuts. We re talking the gates are closed in early afternoon because the park has reached it s capacity nuts. And that s EACH park (MK, AK, EPCOT, DS). So be prepared for long lines and shoulder to shoulder crowds.

Insanely crowded. Good luck!

Its like the massive summer crowds without the dreaded heat!

It is so crowded that you can not move do not go around christmas

2 hour lines to put it simplybut if you re a regular to Disneyland then you know that this is very normal
