Im 17 and im moving for the first time? -

i ve grown up in a small town in VA, where everybody knows everybody.. and i m moving to atlanta georgia cause my dad got a promotion. i have my ged, so im not worried about school..and because im not 18 i have to go with them. has anyone ever moved from a small town to the city? did u like it?

10 years ago, I moved to the Chicago area - from New Hampshire, and the cities in NH are like small towns compared to Chicago. It took some getting used to and I think the first thing you will notice that some things are not as quiet as they were in your small town - especially at night. It might take you a night or two before you get fully settled in your new surroundings. But take your time - you ll eventually learn your way around and hopefully make some new friends. Just take it a day at a time. Good luck.
