Whats the best way to find a place to roommate for senior in sacramento area? -

My housemate is selling home and moving. I need a home for me and my cat. Would prefer to roommate with congenial person. I am easygoing, willing to share expenses and help out. Like good books, good conversation, fun, etc, There are agencies but it s confusing.Please advise
