Whats an easy way to get on the Van Wyck Expressway from NJ? -

Yahoo maps is telling me to take the Lincoln Tunnel, then the Queens Midtown Tunnel, then the Van Wyck. Is there a better route?

From Northern NJ, take the GW to the Cross Bronx to the Whitestone Express way to the VanWyck.From Central and Southern NJ, take the Outerbridge Crossing to the West Shore Expressway to the SI Expressway to the Belt Pkwy to the Van Wyck.
