What is a good half way stopping point if we are driving with family from Baltimore to Ft Myers Florida? -

I was gonna say Charleston or Savannah. They re both beautiful cities, so you d be able to see some sights while there, and relax a bit by the ocean!

somewhere in GA or SCwhen you cross the state lines - stop at the welcome stations (clean rest rooms!)and pick up and interstate guide advertisement bookthere are many motels at each exit - so you can plan aheadand the milepost are real miles and the exits are the milepost nowsome motels have free breakfasts - others have great rates for 20 or so roomsSC should take about 5 hours to journey throughand GA about 2 hrs - about 1 hr in GA there is a nice exitbut it s been 10 years and I forget the cityall the best
