The address of the Tanner house was mentioned in Blast From the Past as being located at 1882 Girard Street in San Francisco, CA. The actual location of the house used for exterior shots in the series is 1709 Broderick Street.i found this video on you tube about someone who filmed going to the famous house. From there, it is several links to other videos. I also found the house on Google Earth, however you have to look for 1742 Broderick street, but when you look at the street picture, the house number is clearly 1709. I love a fun search like this one. Thanks
Achmed is right about the Tanner s house (the white house shown as a scenery shot, typically when changing the scene to their house from somewhere else). However, the row of famous houses on a hill during the opening credits (note: the Tanner s house isn t shown during the the theme song/credits) is likely the Painted Ladies... on Steiner St. between Hayes and Grove. To get the view from the credits (them having a picnic or whatever), view it from the hill at Alamo Square (park), right across the street.
Its 1882 Gerard Street.1882 Gerard Street is indeed a fictitious address.According to this post in the forum at TV.com however, the actual address for the exterior row of homes depicted on Full House is 1892 Steiner Street in San Francisco. But if you want to go through with your plan and see the exact house you must visit The Painted Ladies in an area some people call Postcard Row. This is where many famous shots including the Mrs Doubtfire ones have been taken. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q hl=en geBut the show was filmed in sets inside the studio and not at any real house. Hope that helps.
Gerard st
On the Radio is correct; it s Alamo Square.
