Just after the holidays: the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, MA(http://www.nrm.org/)...and just being in the Berkshires at that time of year is unforgettable. You ll love it.And from Western Mass., Vermont is only a short ride north. Manchester/Arlington/Bennington: lovely places.Head west from there and you re in Saratoga within 45 mins. Relax in the mineral baths. No tourists, no hassles, no problem.
None of them. Avoid the Northeast in the winter, it is cold and the area is prone to crippling winter storms that can easily ruin your vacation. My advice: come back in the summer when it s nice
Visit the Poconos. They are very scenic and beautiful.http://www.800poconos.com
