Hey giirl.:)You should definitely come here to San Antonio it s way more fun then Houston ;)There are lots of touristy things to do while you re here, I m not sure if you re interested in the obvious Alamo or Riverwalk. Those things are the most popular places to visit when you come to San Antonio. Not sure if you ve been here, done that though. There are also plenty of restaurants where your husband and friend can get a drink and you can sit with them. So they ll be able to enjoy that. They actually just added an extension to the riverwalk so it s a lot more fun then what it used to be. Since you ll be coming in December they ll have caroling on the riverwalk, so there will be people singing christmas carols on the boats riding around the riverwalk (it s super pretty). There s also all of the missions in San Antonio, once you visit one of them you ve pretty much seen all of them, but at the same time it s interesting to go to and learn about history. There s the San Antonio Zoo which may be interesting for your baby (not sure how old they are) but it s actually improving so it s not as bad as it used to be! ;)If you come in December you could go to Six Flags Fiesta Texas while they do their Christmas in the Park special. It s really beautiful your husband and friend can drink!! They have a HUGE *** christmas tree and they have a bunch of different shows to watch it s so much fun. There is also a great show (Nutcracker) playing in December as well, so this might be something you re interested in. I would also check out the Mexican Market which is a few blocks away from the riverwalk, especially during Christmas time, they will have some beautiful stuff to look around at. It s really an experience. Also if you re planning to stay at a hotel, I definitely recommend Motel 6 on I-10 and Wurzbach. It s pretty much in the middle of everywhere you would want to go and it s really inexpensive. Not sure if price matters to you, but it is a bit further away from downtown, so if downtown is your main focus of the vacation - you should probably stay somewhere there, although the price goes significantly up!If you have any questions whatsoever, e-mail me arichardson2008@yahoo.com I know lots about San Antonio and have lived here very long, plus I m only 19 years old so I know a lot of fun places to go here that will be fun for your husband and you! :DTake care.
