Im not being rude or nothing just curious.A queens/ brooklyn/ bronx accent is meant to sound nasally right? well when they have the flu do they sound like they have a normal american accentsorry if it sounds weird but im british,lol.

Not exactly. Different ethnic groups and boroughs have different accents.As for whiny, nasally accents thats what you get when you think of someone like Fran Drescher as being the voice of NYC.
