I completely understand where your commin from and if its really that hard to find a job there then i think all you have left is desperate measures. I would keep searchin for a job but at the same time sell stuff you own that you dont really need and that will make you some money. Or start a paper route and if none of that works the only other thing i can think of is to sell drugs. Yes that is completely illegal and wrong but ppl wouldnt have to degrade ourselves to that if it wasnt for this economy and our presidant.
Well i don t think u should sell drugs like Kai says. You can move there are other opportunities for work in D.C. Don t know if you have kids but you can file for assistance as a last resort while u get back on ur feet. Its tough to swallow. You could also look into training for a new job and get government assistance to train for a new job. My friend whos a single mom got paid training and has a new job as a dental assistant and finally got to quit her 2 part-time jobs.
