What is a good part of Los Angeles to stay in? -

I will be going out to L.A. soon for a few days and need to know what a good part of town to stay in would be.

Extra safe would be the San Fernando Valley (Warner Center is a very nice area), but it s a longer drive to and from WLAC.

Beverly Hills, West LA, Near LAX Airport, Downtown, Hollywood,etc.

In Los Angeles county... somewhere on the beach would be very nice :)
