Fanatic religious towns or villages in New York? -

I have a film project that deals with really super-puritan, secluded, burn-the-witch sort of townspeople in new york. Obviously nowhere near the city since that s like the atheist central of the world, but maybe more upstate? Anything from small towns, to secluded forested areas would help. Thanks :)

if you re looking for christian fanatics, I know there s a neighborhood full of jehova s witnesses, dunno the name of the area though..If looking for religious fanatics in general, I think you should pay a visit to Borough Park in Brooklyn, you ll like what you ll see :)
