What to wear in Santa Barbara in Winter? -

Hey. Okay, so my family just booked tickets to Santa Barbara, CA for the Winter and I have no idea what to wear. I want to dress somewhat boho-chic there, but also preppy on some days but should i wear like summer clothes or sweaters. Any ideas? Also, if you could, give me some good clothing stores I can hit as well. :D Thanks

It s warm in Santa Barbara in the winter so take light-weight clothing with you. Most people are dressed very casually in Santa Barbara, so unless you re going to a formal event, you can skip any fancy dresses. Take some shorts, tank tops, t-shirts, flip flops, bikini, sunglasses, and anything else you d wear in the summer. I ve been to Santa Barbara several times in January and it s lovely. If you re into watching sunsets, head to Carpenteria Beach, just south of S.B., because they are very beautiful. Some good shopping in Santa Barbara: Paseo Nuevo is an outdoor mall and has Macy s and many speciality stores, such as Abercrombie and Fitch and Victoria s Secret, and La Cumbre Plaza.
